Who We Are
Welcome to SEEDS Community Resolution Center. SEEDS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community-based organization that provides mediation, facilitation and training to residents and organizations in Alameda County.
Mission
We recently celebrated 25 years of helping people resolve their conflicts peacefully and effectively. We are committed to our shared mission, vision, and core values.
History
SEEDS, formerly East Bay Community Mediation, represents the recent union of three community mediation programs in Alameda County: Berkeley Dispute Resolution Service, Conciliation Forums of Oakland, and Mediation Services covering Hayward/Castro Valley/Fremont. Board and Staff
SEEDS is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors. We have six paid staff that manage our program areas and/or provide administrative support for the organization.
Volunteers
Most of our direct services are provided by over 150 dedicated and experienced volunteers who serve pro bono as community mediators, facilitators and trainers and other capacities to help carry out the critical work of SEEDS Community Resolution Center.
